Big Picture Software is proud to announce receipt of “Notice of Award” from the West Virginia Purchasing Department in response to a recent “RFQ” solicitation posted by the West Virginia Board of Accountancy. Big Picture Software will be implanting and configuring a robust software database e-Licensing solution based on the agency's specific licensing and disciplinary requirements. The e-licensing software will streamline the Board’s current application and renewal process through the implementation of online services for both new and renewal licenses. Compliance enforcement and discipline modules will assist the Board with disciplinary actions such as revocations and suspensions of licenses or accounting firms along with other enforcement requirements. Big Picture is pleased to be working with another professional/regulatory licensing board in the state of West Virginia.

About the West Virginia Board of Accountancy: The West Virginia Board of Accountancy became an agency of the State of West Virginia in 1959. The Board is charged with the administration and enforcement of the provisions of the Accountancy Law, W.Va. Code §30-9-1 et seq. The West Virginia Board of Accountancy is charged with the administration of the Accountancy Law through licensure and discipline of Certified Public Accountants, Public Accountants, and the issuance of firm permits and authorizations to perform attest or compilations services. The Board's powers include administering the Certified Public Accountant examination; determining the qualifications of any applicant for a license; and issuance, renewal, denial, suspension, revocation or reinstatement of licenses.
