By

Big PictureTM Software is proud to announce that they have signed a contract with the West Virginia Board of Medicine (WVBOM). Big PictureTM Software will be replacing the Board’s existing database with a new e-Licensing system. The system will be able to process online applications for medical doctors, physician assistants, podiatrists and various medical corporations. The new e-Licensing system will allow the board to track all applications and renewals and provide other online services such as licensee search, change of address request, continuing education accreditation and more. The new system will allow for discipline/complaint tracking. The Board will utilize an annual support agreement which provides them with dedicated customer and technical support 24/7 along with secure hosting and software upgrades.

WVBOM is responsible for the oversight and regulation of licensing for various medical related fields. Big PictureTM Software is configuring a board specific e-Licensing solution that is currently being utilized by similar boards such as North Dakota Board of Medical Examiners and West Virginia Board of Osteopathic Medicine. Big PictureTM Software will replace an antiquated database with a new secure web-based e-Licensing solution which will help to enhance and automate the Board’s current licensure process.

“We are looking forward to providing an e-Licensing system for WVBOM that will streamline the Board’s operations in the area of licensing, renewals, discipline and regulation, while enhancing online capabilities,” says Troy Rauschenberger, Director of Government Markets at Big PictureTM Software. According to Mr. Rauschenberger, “Big PictureTM Software will significantly streamline all front-end and back-end processes related to the Board’s licensure cycle while providing enhanced self-service capabilities to the Board’s licensees.”
