A key component of Big Picture™ is the ability to allow multiple individuals and groups to create
and modify website content in a secure environment. Content is stored in the database that allows
the user with no HTML ability to display information in a format that enhances the image of the
site.
News OptionThe News Option for the Big Picture™ Website Module gives site administrators an easy way to keep site content current and keep visitors updated on important happenings. News items are entered and managed in a simple interface that allows users to set active dates for articles and make changes and updates to content in real-time. Streamline Content Management Option The Streamline Content Management Option for the Big Picture™ Website Module gives administrative users the ability to maintain every page of content on their site. A rich text editor that offers a what you see is what you get (WYSIWYG) view of the content allows users to use tools that are familiar to have maximum control of content. This tool is distinguished from other more specific tools, such as the News Events Calendar tools, in that the user is given more flexibility, without the automated features of system-created news headlines, image thumbnails, etc. Events Calendar Option The Events Option for the Picture™ Website Module provides functionality for the creation and maintenance of an events calendar for a website. Users create and edit events in a simple calendar based interface and optionally publish events to the web for public viewing. The Events Option also includes a function allowing administrators to send event notifications to subscriber lists. Newsletter Option The Newsletter Option for the Big Picture™ Website Module allows administrators to create and manage email lists and newsletter content. When tied with Big Picture™ Digital Assets and Ecommerce Modules, email newsletters come alive for subscribers with e-coupons, web specials, and timely information directed at the interests of the audience. Glossary Option The Glossary Option for the Big Picture™ Website Module allows administrators to create and manage dictionary style lists of important words and concepts that site visitors will find important. Administrators manage the information in a simple interface, allowing timely updates and additions to the content that will increase the visitor experience. Messageboard Option The Messageboard Option for the Big Picture™ Website Module creates and environment where site visitors can interact, creating a community of users that return again and again. Simple tools allow administrators to manage and monitor user interactions, editing for content to ensure the best experience for users. The Messageboard Option provides the strongest opportunity to create a loyal user group that uses the site to find and share information on topics that are of interest. Internal Database Connection Option The Internal Database Connection Option for the Big Picture™ Website Module creates an environment where dual entry of data for internal and web visitor use is eliminated.
